Just set up the vacuum. It did a couple of rooms well then went a bit further. I paused it to draw a fence around a dog bowl, tried to resume it, and… the vacuum list connectivity. I expect this is due to my mesh WiFi network. I manually sent it back to its charging station but hopefully switching to different mesh nodes will be supported unless I just ran into an oddity.
Hey, Gromitln I had a similar issue with my mesh network (Netgear Orbi). I am purely hypothesizing here but I would test going into your router settings and dedicate an SSID for 2.4 GHz. I was able to solve initial connection issues by temporarily disabling 5 GHz. I think some of these mesh networks have issues responding to 2.4 GHz only devices. If this doesn’t work just change it back.

I have the Nest Wifi mesh network with 5 pucks as well and ran the whole main floor without a problem tonight.
I’d say try to run it again and see if it duplicates the problem, otherwise it may just be a one-off.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll take the lowest friction one and delete the map and let it run a full cycle without messing with it. If that doesn’t work, I’ll try setting up a dedicated 2.4GHz network. However, in this instance the initial setup was fine, it was just when it went out of range of the first puck (my assumption) that things went awry. I am probably jinxing it by saying that the Google mesh has been fairly good so far with 2.4 only devices like my pellet smoker, and hasn’t need reconfiguration.
