V4 record events on SD card not saving creates empty file and delete it. Started with last firmware update

After The v4 firmware update. Getting error when recording activity saved on the SD card. Shows recording taking place. Stopping the recording shows an error Recording failed with error: “recorded empty file. Deleted”
No file saved in the album.

This is a known issue, discussed in a few threads already (you should have seen them on the right when typing this new thread). Not sure if a resolution has been found yet (other than pulling the SD card and putting in your computer, or rolling back the firmware).
