I believe it was estimated that the beta release of the RTSP firmware for the v4 cams was January of 2026. Since that has come and gone, I was hoping to get an updated estimate on when this may be released. I am trying to decide if it’s still worth waiting for, or revert to a previous firmware tha…

Wyze ecosystem: All cloud recording, the sound is hosed. Pure white noise only. Playback from SD card sounds fine. RTSP/ RTSPs ecosystem: Unable to connect. Tried with. VLC client as well as IPCams iOS app. Has anyone had success with RTSP/RTSPS with public app and this build as Dave states? …

IOS user here, I’ve got the update and I use scrypted to stream to HomeKit. I added it as a stand-alone because for some reason scrypted didn’t expose it to HomeKit with the rest of the V3 and Pans that I have. So far so good. I also added it to Frigate, and so far so good.

Any chance RTPS will soon be ported to Cam Pan V4?

Many thanks. Does this RTSP also support Wyze Bulb cam?

Not yet. So far only 3 cameras have official RTSP support: V3 Pan V3 V4 But getting it on the bulb cam eventually would be nice since I also have one of those watching my yard.

Perhaps not a question suited for this forum. But I got the camera added to Frigate in Home Assistant. When I try to add a webrtc custom card with the stream the aspect ratio is all weird. Anyone else have this issue?
