V4 Cam RTSP Update

Many thanks. Does this RTSP also support Wyze Bulb cam?

Not yet. So far only 3 cameras have official RTSP support:

V3
Pan V3
V4

But getting it on the bulb cam eventually would be nice since I also have one of those watching my yard.

Perhaps not a question suited for this forum. But I got the camera added to Frigate in Home Assistant. When I try to add a webrtc custom card with the stream the aspect ratio is all weird. Anyone else have this issue?

Another user reported that here:

RTSP is working on V4 beta. While running RTSP it seems to break my normal Wyze app streaming which sucks but hopefully they will fix it.

Any roadmap to get RTSP on Floodlight Pro cause that would rock…

@Crease I know the default stream for the V4 is 2560x1440, but would you know offhand what the secondary stream resolution would be?

Excellent question! Also would it be “stream1” for the second resolution?

I have no idea, and I’m not the best person to ask about RTSP stuff. I’ve played with it on only a couple of Cam Pan v3s so far, and I usually connect to stream1 when I do that. I haven’t tried the new beta firmware for Cam v4, and I don’t know if I’ll have time to do that before it gets to the production channel. I’ve been busy with non-Wyze stuff lately and have had other priorities.

I wish I could give you a better answer! I just don’t know at this point, so hopefully someone who’s testing it has the data. Maybe ask in the Wyze Cam v4 Firmware Beta Test 7/27/2026 topic to see if someone else has checked? :man_shrugging:

The question was for the Wyze team. I’m using stream0. I should be able to check if there’s a resolution difference between stream 0 and 1

Just confirmed Stream0 is 2.5k and Stream1 is 360p

Right. I was responding specifically to @rspierenburg because I’d been @‍mentioned in a previous reply.
