That is completely incorrect. SD card recordings are NOT part of the rules engine. I would suggest you not waste your time following the suggestions from support, unless you really want to.
Note: I just tested one of my cameras. I set motion detection off and the SD card to record events. SD card recorded me moving around the room but nothing was sent to the cloud.
YUP, you are absolutely correct WildBill. I got a reply to my email from someone at Wyze saying the same thing. Oh well, maybe I will add this to the wish list and see what happens. I was hoping this camera would be the one. Other than this one item, I love the camera. I have been through several different cameras over the past year or two trying to find one that fits my needs. I guess I need to keep looking.
