V3 Camera resets itself daily to "Ready to Connect"

Many Wyze v3 Cam owners eventually experience a known-good camera after weeks, months, years have their camera start resetting itself to factory settings and prompt “Ready to connect” and waiting to scan a QR code. I don’t see where Wyze has identified this as a problem or releases firmware to resolve. Anyone else have any community driven resolutions? V3 Cameras are still actively being sold on Wyze, Amazon, Costco and Home Depot. 1 out of the 3 V3 Cams I have has this issue.

I haven’t heard of this yet. It’s also not happening on any of mine.

What firmware version are you on?

You said this is happening to many V3 owners. Do you have a link to lots of others reporting this so I can include several examples if I share this with someone at Wyze?

There are at least 3 different versions of the V3 cam with slightly different hardware in each (SOC, Wi-Fi Module, Image Sensor). I wonder if it’s happening to a certain Wi-Fi module and not the other. For the ones having this problem, do the first 6 or so digits of the MAC address match each other and are they different from the ones not having the problem? If so, that helps narrow it down.

I don’t know if they’re even aware it’s an issue, at least not aware it’s more than an edge case. Did you contact support? What did they say?
