Hi! The mount of my v3 cam broke, and I haven’t been able to remove the screw on the bottom. I have been turning it counterclockwise. Any ideas?
It comes out, it is in there tight intentionally, and may have some corrosion on the threads if it has been outside. Find a screwdriver that fits well in it and turn it hard.
If you have an impact driver that will help but shouldn’t be necessary.
You could attempt to get some penetrating oil in it but I don’t think there is any way to access the top of the thread area, unless you want to break/chip away the rest of the mount. Of course at that point you could probably use pliers to turn it out.
