Security Screw Stuck in the Bottom of the Wyze Wireless Video Doorbell Pro

I was struggling to loosen the security screw of our Wyze Wireless Video Doorbell Pro to remove it from the mount to charge it and when I finally got it off and charged it, I couldn’t get the security screw that holds the camera on the mounting plate to drop far enough down to put it back on the mount outside. The screw is stuck up in the bottom of the camera, so now we can’t put it back on the mount. Any suggestions???

Hard to say from that description but maybe the screw has gotten cross threaded? Isn’t the hole it goes in just plastic? If so there shouldn’t be any sort of corrosion etc.

If you were able to remove it you’d think it would be down far enough to get it back on, but it should be easier to mess with the screw when it is off the wall.

Maybe a picture of it would help?
