V2 camera with cam plus will only do smart detection

I keep setting the event recording on this camera to detect all motion but it immediately reverts back to smart detection. I’ve restarted services, restarted the camera, restarted the app. I open live view and make sure it’s connected before making the change but to no avail. As soon as I go back into settings it’s in smart detection. Why is this happening?

Must be a V2 bug? I don’t have one so no personal experience with it.

V2 "All Motion Events" recording setting doesn't stick

I noticed I was getting far fewer events recorded lately, so I went in to check settings on all my cameras. I found that all the cameras which have the settings “All Motion Events” (vs. “Smart Dectection Events”) in the event recording settings were set to Smart Detection Events, which is not what I want. I was able to change my V3, PanV3, and OG cams to “All Motion Events,” back out of the setting, go back in and find that setting was retained. My V2 and PanV2s, though will NOT keep the 'All M…

Well I still have 4 V2’s running, all 4 are on the same firmware. The only thing different about the one that will not retain “all motion events” is the one I have cam plus on.

All three of my V2 cams are doing this. V3 & V4 are working as normal. Must be a V2 bug. I have a ticket in - hoping they fix this for people. I’ve seen several topics on this over the last month (all for V2 cams).
