Yes, very annoying issue! You can find more information in the threads below.
Basically some people have resolved the issue by manually reflashing the latest firmware onto the V2 camera and/or setting up a schedule to automatically have the camera reset once a day.
I have quite a few cameras and I have been noticing over the past few weeks or month that cameras stop recording events. Restarting the camera via the app seems to fix the problem for a while at least. This is hard to detect because I have so many cameras it takes a few days before I notice. Again it’s not any particular camera but seems to be all of them (at two locations). Anyone else notice this?
My three cameras all worked great until about 1-11-19. As of that date, they stopped recording event videos (and obviously stopped uploading and notifying me of said videos). They also stopped making continuous recordings to microSD card.
I can record time lapse videos, and I can do manually-started and -stopped videos, both of which will record to the SD card.
I’ve tried the recommended factory reset, which fixed nothing.
