I do not want or need the home monitoring but am willing to pay for it to get the hardware. Must the home monitoring be activated to use the motion and door sensors in the same manner as the old Wyze sense system? I use the sensors mainly to trigger Alexa routines.
The home monitoring isn’t required. I believe that Wyze will sell the sensors without the monitoring service later, a date hasn’t been announced for this yet.
