Using a USB cable to power Outdoor Camera Base Station?

Anyone tried to use this to power the Wyze Outdoor Cam base tied to a battery pack?

Thanks!

That’s a cool idea! Let us know how it works for you, seems like it would work. I would watch it carefully for a bit to make sure it doesn’t melt, you never know with those things hehe

As long as the voltage, amp’s, etc. match the base’s spec’s, i see no reason why this wouldn’t work. i’ve used my power bank to power quite a few things, including a V3 camera.

That is not what he meant, that adapter is usb (from a battery bank) to the barrel connector on the base

I figured I should update this thread, bought one and have had a base station plugged in to that cable instead for a bit now with no issue.
