Is it possible to put a sub splitter on the Wyze lamp socket to power two Wyze cam v3’s? I’m wanting to have a v3 looking in the opposite direction of my other v3. Thank you!
I haven’t tried this myself, but I think you probably could. It may not have enough power and could cause issues with stuff like the siren, but you could try. It definitely won’t work for data though, and at least one socket in the group needs to be connected with data to a v3. The rest should be fine.

A V3 takes about 0.4A, so you should be okay on power with 2 V3s. The splitter has to be a data cable tho, and the cable to the non-controlling V3 has to be a power-only cable.

Wouldn’t a power only splitter work but just not switch the light on when motion was detected? Could then possibly create an alternate method to switch it on when motion was detected on a cam?
