What is this? If noticed it on just one of my cameras. It’s like every 10th shot of my driveway.

I don’t have a good answer for you yet, but I believe I saw some similar things being reported by other people on their cameras on some of the other social platforms.

All I am seeing in the image you posted is a mostly black and dark gray image. What am I supposed to be seeing?
It looks like one of those stock images that appear when something doesn’t work as expected.
This is a normal picture from the cameras angle, but like I said about every 10th shot of the gray image with the black dots.

I have not had any luck getting anyone anyone to answer the phone.

What number are you calling? I believe they still use phones, but devote most of their support staff to chat and email instead.

I believe the email address is support@wyze.com, but @carverofchoice can correct me if I am wrong. At least you can start a paper trail. They seem to respond to email. You may or may not get the answer you seek.

Yes, but you can’t start a support ticket with the email address. You have to start it on their website and they will email you from that address and then you can respond by email (I assume it tracks it based on the subject line). But I love doing support inquiries with the email instead of phone or chat.

What actual camera model is this happening on? Wco? Do you have cam plus? Can you take screen shots of the events page that this shows on? As much info here can help try and figure this out

WCO V1 or V2? What actual firmware version is on it? What actual app version are you using?
I know that when the WCO v1 records an event it takes a .JPG picture and a video for every event. Since I have cam unlimited the cameras no longer backs to the base station SD card but I have checked the card before and it goes ,jpg then .mp-4 for every event. It does that also when recording to the SD in the camera using scheduled event recording. I’ve never seen a .jpg then …mp4 for a cloud recording
I still have 4 cams in service and have never seen a black picture like that?
I use iOS, the 3.2 .1 app.
