I’m considering buying a single Cam V3 along with a cloud subscription, but I’m finding the pricing structure quite confusing.
From the first link below, it seems that Cam Plus Lite is a cloud service—possibly free?—but it’s not clear. The phrase “Name Your Price” is especially vague. Does that mean it’s free temporarily, and then you’re expected to switch to the paid Cam Plus plan? If so, it would be more transparent to explain it directly instead of using such ambiguous language.
Also, that same page lists Cam Plus at $1.99/month, but the second link says $2.99/month. So which is the correct price? I’m just trying to get a clear understanding of what I’m signing up for, but the conflicting information makes it difficult.
I even read on the forum or elsewhere that Cam plus cost $19.99/year, or $1.66/month, but if this is correct, it is not written on the links mentioned, which should have been the case, and so it is a third price possibility, and I still do not know how much the cheapest subscription, which is Cam plus (for one camera), costs.
Why is the pricing info so inconsistent across Wyze’s own pages?
