Unauthorized device on my account

Suspicious activity on my account. I have Xiaomi civic device on my account I do not own. I do not share my account with anyone. I have noticed that camera is not recording the events and is offline always when I’m not home.

I would change your password and if the account has the option, remove all devices and re-log in from yours. I’m not sure if wyze will force all devices to re-log in when you change your password, I’m assuming so, but if it lets you remove it, that’s a good measure too.

Curious. Just a thought, but where are you seeing this Xiaomi device showing up? Could it be when you look under the WiFi settings on your smart phone? If you see it there, its not actually on your account. Its just offering itself for its owner to finish connecting it via their own account to their own home network. Just a guess.

Welcome to the Forum, @jana.pobudova001!

Please note that this is primarily a user-to-user support community. For the kind of concern you’re describing, I would consult the Report Suspicious Activities page and contact Wyze Cybersecurity as described there.

What device are you using to view your cams? It sounds like that device is being reported as a Xiaomi, perhaps it uses that chipset or something. if you changed your password and logged everything out, then logged your device back in, then that must be your device.

You can confirm this by logging everything out again, do not log your phone in, log into your wyze account and confirm nothing is there. Then log in on your phone and see what appears.

Hi Dave, thank you for your reply. I’m using Motorola and Dell-laptop. The problem is , that on my trusted devices page i had listed my motorola, my Dell and the Xiaomi. I have contacted Wyze cyber security department, i have wrote emails , and spoke with the assistance over the phone ,I have requested speaking with manager, but she said,I can’t speak with him and I have to wrote email so i did,so far no manager or senior manager write me back. It’s very complex situation.Thank you for your time.

Look at the IP address of that device.

Then look at the IP addresses of your Wyze devices in your Wyze app. You will see that that IP address is one of your wise devices.

Then you will have nothing to worry about.

Else Find the MAC of the device you are scared of and block it from your network.

OK, you have me confused.
You said that “In my Wyze account under : TRUSTED DEVICES - I have Xiaomi civic device I do Not own“

I don’t understand where you are seeing this Xiaomi device? You said it is “In my Wyze account under : TRUSTED DEVICES“ but when I look in the Wyze app or in my account on wyze.com I don’t see anything called “Trusted Devices.” The Wyze app does have a tab called “Devices” but I don’t see anything called TRUSTED DEVICES anywhere in anything Wyze.

It is on the iOS app 3.10.5 on my phone.
