Unable to link Wyze app to Google home

Having trouble linking the Wyze app to the Google home app. I go through the steps in Google home home services section to add Wyze, sign in with my Wyze credentials, click accept that my Wyze devices will be used by google, the process sends me back to the Google home app and “linking your Wyze Home account” flashes on the screen, then “adding to room” then…nothing. Wyze doesn’t appear in the linked services area of the Google app.
