I have never been able to download clips from my V3 cameras that I have. The only way to get a permanent copy is to remove the memory card and copy it to a PC, but never available across the internet! How is it done?
I can select download after a second It jumps out of that particular clip onto the main page but nothing is downloaded.
When you play the clip from the events page tap the screen then tap the Share Icon.
Or when the video comes to the end tap the screen , then the 3 dots, then on the next page tap download. On iOS you need to give permission for the WYZE app to access limited photos so it can download to the Media center. I don’t know about android setting. If you are talking about videos on the SD card you will need to play the video and tap record for the length that you want.
To clarify, the “download” is only for cloud clips (Cam Plus subscription). To download the SD card recordings you have to use the “record” feature while watching the SD card video, once you stop recording it saves to your phone/device.
I finally found why I could not download the event videos. I not have a subscription, so Wyze prevented expected reasonable functionality to force a subscription.
I also found that, as described, I could download the SD card clips, but only live clips and not event clips, as another way to force a subscription that that the cameras would have some value. Event clips are the videos that are useful, not recording what you are looking at in real time. The camera’s purpose is to record events, and not to be used as a TV.

If you have an event, it will show the time of the event. Play back the SD, go to the time and tap the record button when it starts to play, it will be saved to your phone/device media gallery.
Sadly, it doesn’t work on my phone and the Syze product has many firmware and usability issues.
Unfortunately, the don’t offer a PC application, just a subscriber and browser view button.
Yes, you are wrong. As I mentioned, the “download” button you have is only for subscribers. Since you do not have a subscription, you need to use the “record” button when viewing the SD card or an event clip playing off the SD card (same thing really).
Ignore the download button anywhere you see it if you don’t have a subscription, it will just give you an advertisement for Cam Plus.
What doesn’t work on your phone? The record button doesn’t work at all, or you aren’t able to see the video after doing “record”.
If it is the latter, there is a bug with that with some android photo gallery software, however you should be able to see the recorded clips in the Wyze gallery within the app. After recording it even pops up a message you can tap to go to the gallery.
