Unable to arm entry sensors from app

Over a 5 day holiday I was unable to arm my Wyze alarm system. Always got the ‘unable to change state’ message after several minutes.

Once I got home I was able to fix it by adding the Wyze Sense Hub again without deleting the existing one. I did not end up with two hubs.

Bluetooth has to be on and you will be required to press the reset button on the hub. (This cannot be done remotely- a design flaw IMHO)

It’s an inexpensive security system and it seems you get what you pay for. I previously had an ADT system and it ‘just worked’.

My advice is that you begin updating your firmware and testing everything a week or so before any planned trips.
