Turn off Sense bridge status LED light

The app update says that there support for the bridged status light toggle. What does that mean? I can’t find a toggle anywhere in the app. I have latest app and firmware. Please clarify?

This feature has now been added.

You have to go to your camera settings → extended devices → bridge

Call up the individual camera that has the bridge installed and go into settings.

Select Extended Devices > Wyze Sensor Bridge. You can turn off the light here, if you have up-to-date software and firmware.

As mentioned above, it’s under Camera Settings (gear icon) > Extended Devices.

The Extended Devices is the last item in Camera Settings (after Device Info). On many phones, you will need to scroll the page up to see it.

Thanks so much!!! Yes I had to scroll!! and there it was!!

Boom and POW!!!

Totally agree. My vote goes to do this one as well.

Hi @brunocastelo74, this is a launched feature. Only #wishlist topics are voted on.

Not working for me. Keeps telling me to update firmware even though they are up to date.

It might mean the bridge firmware needs to be updated not the cams firmware

Same problem here, I have up to date firmware on both my V1 camera (3.9.4.16) and Sense bridge (0.0.0.33), but the bridge LED toggle doesn’t work.

When I click on the Extended Devices and then click on “Wyze Sensor Bridge”, it gives me a message “Please add a device first” with an “OK” option only.

On firmware version 3.9.4.16 for Wyze Cam and it says up to date

You can try unplugging the bridge from the cam and plugging it back in, and/or rebooting the cam. I had a similar situation with my newest bridge saying it needed new firmware but then not allowing me to upgrade it until I rebooted the camera.

The other reason for that message is you may be attempting to control the bridge from a different camera? You can only do so from the camera it is attached to.

I’m using a PanCam with the RTSP firmware. When I toggle the setting for the Bridge status light it just constantly resets to on. Bridge firmware is current. Is this a bug in the RTSP firmware?

I don’t use RTSP, so I’m not totally sure. But it may be that this feature was implemented after the RTSP release. As you probably know, RTSP is restricted from incorporating any new features that have been implemented post-release. That may be the reason.

You could submit a Support Request and see what they say.

I’d say it “appears” to have been implemented since the on-off setting is in the configuration section, but that probably doesn’t mean it was implemented.

May try a support request just to find out.

How do you turn it off?

Enter the camera it is attached to, then tap on the “gear” in the top right corner, then scroll to “Extended Devices”, then tap on “Wyze Sensor Bridge”, Then toggle the “Bridge Status Light” On or Off.
