Transfer frequency no more displayed

Hello

Upon launching the wyzecan3 app, it shows a still image and when touching this image it used to display in small text the live transfer frequency, I think in bit or byte par sec. For sometime now I no more see the transfer rate and cannot tell if what I see ii still or video.

Please your kind help

I believe you’re describing the bitrate display that used to be present on Cam v3’s Live Stream screen, but this and other features no longer appear there following recent changes to that Cam’s UI:

If you just want to confirm you’re seeing live video and not a frozen/still frame, look at the time in the bottom right to confirm the seconds are advancing. Only a couple cams (v3 and OG) ever had the bitrate display. Seems the OG is the only one left, probably will go away from that at some point too.

Thanks!

I can see the time progressing but this can be synthesized by the app.

In a word, if this is how wyze add features it’d better not.

The time comes from the camera and is part of the video stream, it is not put there by the app. Actually the bitrate you were seeing before was put there by the app so if anything that was a less reliable indicator.
