I have a version one outdoor camera with the base station. I want to give it to my father to use. How do I do this? Can I do this. Do I remove my account and then factory reset it? I’m worried about trying to reset it without making sure it’s removed from my account. Please help. BTW. I’m sure this has been answered before on the forum but the search function really sucks on here.

There are a couple of other articles in that FAQ section that appear relevant, though they indicate that it cannot be factory reset, so I’d take a look at those, even though the messaging is inconsistent (somewhat typical for Wyze). I think you’re on the right path in suggesting that you remove it from your account before trying to do any kind of reset.
@kzoodad While the camera/cameras and base are ONLINE , first delete the cameras from your account, then delete the base from your account. To set up again just go through the normal set up procedure by connecting the base to the router via ethernet, set it up as per directions then pair the cams to the base when it has been set up and the LED on top of the base is solid blue. Do not delete anything if it is offline.
