You’re welcome. If you look at Cam OG (“Standard”) and Cam OG Telephoto side by side, there are definite differences, and with the Telephoto model there’s kind of a “well” or funnel-shaped cavity going back to the lens where it’s recessed. It’s not a convex feature at the front of the camera like with other Wyze Cam models.
That doesn’t really address your original question, though.
Maybe you could slap a Close-up Lens on it!
Someone in the announcement topic for that mentioned a plan to try this. I haven’t yet seen any follow-up on it, though. I like the Cam OG Telephoto for a particular outdoor application: It gives a good view of the driveway from a distance. I can see how it might be less than ideal if you really wanted a Cam Pan v3, though.
