My V4 has gone nuts recording shadows and everything else. It is set for smart detections only. I got “Motion” events all night and this morning. Restarted the cam via the app, reset services and that made no difference. Toggled motion on and off, all motion to smart detection setting back and forth…

Ok, Froggy @peepeep I am finally done with this subject. The V4 has no filters set, the wind is still blowing and there are no “Motion” event videos, smart detections only all tagged correctly. The vehicles tagged are Amazon van and FedEx truck, the videos tagged person are of the guy across the …

I’m wondering if this is related to the behavior I’m seeing on my OGs. They start ignoring my detection zone and I have to toggle it off and back on (luckily that works for them). This started around Friday, I assumed it was a firmware thing but maybe there is something on their servers not sendin…

[image] dave27: is it is detecting your parked car erroneously. No that is not it. I have the truck blocked out in the detection zone. This first video is tagged Pet. If I did not have detection zone on it would show tagged as vehicle and pet like it did hundreds of times before I blocked the…

I have observed the same exact behavior on 3 v4s, and for me the onset coincided with the last software update. I have a mix of v3, pan v3, spotlight pro, and v4. Out of all cameras, only the v4s currently show the behavior of recording motion events despite being set to only record smart detection…

Hey, Admiral, all this glum news, people are starting to jump ship. [image] Done, Finished. Over Cameras As God is my witness I am done with Wyze cameras. I have owned or own every single model they have put out. The ONLY thing you can count on with Wyze cameras is that w…

My OGs are ignoring detection zone after the last firmware update (or so I think, it could also be something on the Wyze servers that started with the big IT outage last week). I’m thinking the two issues may somehow be related, but who knows.

Everyone has a limit until they go this route: Like me when driving around here in California. [Screenshot (693)]

Too many cameras. It’s affecting your judgment. Be like me. Scratch that. Be like someone else who’s calm that you respect.

Still at it recording motion. And for the topper it never even made a cloud recording event of this car that came this morning at 00:22, a V3 recorded a cloud event for it. Yes, vehicle detection is selected on the V4. And the worse part is it did not tag the :raccoon: gang going home as PET. [st…
