"This device isn't supported"

I get this popup occasionally for various devices. Usually if i continue to try to access the device it allows it. This time for a plug i just can’t access it. For now I’m not that remote so i can just walk over and try unplugging it. What are my options but access?

I don’t recall ever seeing that message, so I appreciate the screenshot! :+1:

I wonder if that’s an iOS-specific error. The only possible recent mention that comes to mind for me is this:

I wonder if that’s the same issue and if it’s some kind of server-side and/or iOS-specific problem. I use Android and in the current production app just tapped through all the Plugs and Plug Outdoors that I currently have powered. I was doing this on the Devices tab and was unable to reproduce this issue.

2 of my plugs are now taking several taps turn on and as soon as I close the app they shut off. One is a fan I run a lot and it never did this until after I heard the kids laughing through my camera(s). Both plugs give the not recognized until I tap several times. Never used to be like that. They worked today until the kids laughing.

Could they be related? Maybe - maybe not but it seems strange that all of a sudden after the kids laughing I’m starting to have strange things happen where I never had any problems.

I went to the plug and pressed the button on the side. It’s fine now. However, next week I’ll be 1,000 away.

I’ll see if i can recreate it.

Well, that was easy. I simply turned it on then exited devices then reentered and got the same messages. This time i went to Favorites and could turn it off. That’ll work for me when I’m gone though I’ll mostly have everything on a schedule.

Thanks for the input.
