I am trying to create an automation that turns on a Wyze plug when the Wyze thermostat turns on the fan. The only trigger event I found was for turning on heat or turning on cooling which I could create two separate rules. For the action I was able to turn on the Wyze plug, however there was not configuration to be able to turn the Wyze plug off when the thermostat was not turning on heat. So when the automation was running and the thermostat turned on the heater, the plug came on. When the thermostat turned off the heat, the plug stayed on. I don’t want to use the TURN ON FOR action because I don’t want it time based. I want the plug on as long as the heater is on and off when the heater is off. I tried ifttt but there are no triggers for the Wyze thermostat there. I tried amazon Alexa and there are no triggers through the Wyze plugin for the thermostat there either. Any ideas?
