Its happened again something happened in front of my home. Can you advise if , selectable hours for max sensitivity of motion will ever become a option? It just makes total sense if i was able to adjust 1 am to 5 am to max distance and max sensitive.
Please take this suggestion seriously . Urban or rural this would work for all. And would be an excellent selling point as thefts patterns happen between 10pm to 4am. Im not saying this will solve the problem but it will help the cameras we bought catch more details and maybe light up the area and the thieves go back into the darkness of the holes they crawled out of .
I have the sensitivity on all 15 of my cameras set to 100%. I don’t care how many event videos they record since I am the one paying for Cam Unlimited.
Another possibility is SD cards set to Continuous Recording. When i notice dog business on my lawn, i can go to the SD card (even if no Motion Event was triggered) and see who left the business on my lawn.
This should work for theft too.
Forgot to mention this is for the floodlight pro. I live in an urban area , would like the boost in sensitivity only during the late night. I dont want to be the guy that has the light that get triggered on everything when theres more traffic by the house.
The SD card on continuous recording is the best solution.
That’s also how I use it. Detection sensitivity is for motion events, and then if that happens to miss anything, I have everything always recorded on the SD card and can go check and make sure nothing gets missed. That’s even better than high sensitivity because it’s always recording no matter what. I totally agree with your your response about it
But MFP has been wasting 6-7 hours of continuous recording on the Weeds & Water cam every day for the last three weeks. Now he started taking long naps in the camera view.

Its actually more about the spot/flood light activating at a more sensitive level during the preset hours like 1am -5am. Recording will go hand in hand. Its hoping to spook away the person or animal.
