I am not going to be any help, but what is the “temperature correction” -3 degrees? And why is it set to “holding”? I am asking both questions because I don’t understand what those are for…
My Wyze thermostat - I have the heat set to 68. When it drops to 67, the heat kicks on and I swear it gets up to 70 sometimes before it stops. It works fast too, and I think that’s why it gets so hot before it shuts off.
I hope you get an answer to this, because it’s frustrating!
I believe the temperature offset is to calibrate the thermometer.
So, if it show 70 degrees but it is actually only 67 degrees, you need a 3 degree offset.
What did you use that showed it was actually 67 degrees for you to know you needed a 3 degree offset? And how did you know that instrument was correct and your thermostat was incorrect? I am not at all saying this is your issue, but I think something like this could possibly be my issue. I really have no clue though.
