Wyze CRUSHES nature cam lovers with VOX audio that can’t be turned off!
Wyze destroys the nature segment for it’s camera because nature is pretty quiet and the V3 camera has a beefy VOX circuit that keeps sounds muted until they cross a threshold well past that of nature.
If you want a Wyze cam for recording Bird Calls, Animal meanderings and nature in general, you’ll get a silent film with this Camera and no option to turn off VOX
On the plus side, the V3 camera is about the best thing to ever come along and the RTSP firmware lets me get into the camera to view it when online isn’t available! But this fixed VOX feature absolutely kills the camera for any real nature or Bird nest recording! Take the VOX off please with a switch in the app and include it in your RTSP firmware!
