Sync Wyze Band, Watch and Scale to MyFitnessPal

Just got mine in the mail and found it won’t sync to my fitness pal, I’d love the scale and band I just bought to be able to sync so I can track my progress on my weight loss journey! Please make this happen!!!

Any update from Wyze to integrate with MyFitnessPal? I’ve been manually adding my weight every day since the Wyze Scale released. Thanks!

I would also like an integration with MyFitness Pal…

I am moving away from Garmin and miss this integration.

I picked up the Wyze scale specifically because it boasts integrations with other fitness apps. The main one I use is My Fitness Pal, and let the data sync out from there to Apple Health and whatnot.

This is super disappointing to learn it is not supported yet.

I have a setup that is working and sending info from the Wyze scale into MyFitnessPal.

I created a Fitbit account (don’t have any Fitbit devices just did it to sync info).

Wyze scale syncs with Fitbit and sends weight data.
Fitbit then sends weight data to MyFitnessPal every time new weight is recorded.
Finally (in my case) MyFitnessPal sends info into Garmin Connect (I have a Garmin watch).
It sometimes take around 5 to 10min to sync to every platform but I don’t have to do anything. I just step on the scale with the Wyze app open and boom, my weight is recorded everywhere.

Hope this helps

How are you syncing the Wyze scale with Fitbit? I have a Fitbit which I have synced with MyFitnessPal.

I downloaded the FitBit app into my phone where I have the Wyze app (like I said, I don’t have FitBit devices but just did it to sync things to MFP and Garmin)

The procedure to connect Wyze to FitBit is:

  1. Open the Wyze app.
  2. Go to Devices and select your scale.
  3. Select Authorize Third-Party Apps.
  4. Choose your Fitbit.
  5. Tap Authorize .

From here, the app will take you to Fitbit’s website. To complete the set-up process:

  1. Hit Allow All.
  2. Choose Open after it asks, “Open in Wyze App?”

Once it says, “Got it,” you have successfully synced your two devices.

One important note here is that even though FitBit does catch body fat % alongside with weight, this procedure only sends weight data to MyFitnessPal. It doesn’t send the rest of the measures like BMI, body fat % etc.

And also I don’t any premium suscription to any of these apps so it can be done for free.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the explanation!! :+1:

I would like my Wyze Watch to connect with MYFitnessPal. I use MFP for all of my activity and meal tracking. It would be nice to sync one of the most popular fitness apps with my new Wyze Watch.

it is possible with the workaround method that I explained. It still working as of today in my case

It works on MyFitnessPal/iPhone as of 11/12/21 for the Wyze scale. Not sure about the band as I don’t own one. First you have to go to your iPhone health app, click on profile on right top—> privacy—>app—>MyFitnessPal—> turn on all the toggle. Now you will go to your Wyze app —>settings—> sync data to third party app —>Apple health and turn on this function. Weight yourself on Wyze scale and it will update the MyFitnessPal.

Thank you, but I am not trying to connect a scale. I’m trying to connect my Wyze Watch to MFP.

You can now sync the wyze watch to Google Fit, then Google fit to MyFitnessPal

Expanded Wyze Scale app integration

Are there any plans for the Wyze Scales to work with Under Armour’s My Fitness Pal and Garmin Connect?

Ok, this merger of threads addresses my question about My Fitness Pal but does nothing to address integration with Garmin Connect.

I own several Garmin fitness wearables which are the Garmin vivoactive 3. Garmin Instinct, Garmin vivosport, and Garmin vivoactive, and more importantly, could not care any less about the Wyze Band or Wzye watch integrate with My Fitness Pal.

I only utilize My Fitness Pal for food tracking.

Everything else is tracked via Garmin Connect, so I guess I should just buy the Garmin Index S2 scale; thanks for the help in making that decision.

The method I explained works also with Garmin connect. I have the Wyze Scale syncing all the way to Garmin. It goes Wyze Scale —> Fitbit (I don’t own Fitbit devices just did it to sync) —> MyFP —> Garmin Connect

I will not send my health data to an Alphabet/Google-owned entity like Fitbit.

I am glad I bought Gamin devices since if I had bought Fitbit devices, I would have stopped using them and deleted my account and data the day the acquisition was announced.

I am looking for a direct sync to Garmin Connect or a sync via My Fitness Pal directly to Garmin Connect. I only use My Fitness Pal for food tracking, and with the recent move of the barcode scanning functionality behind a paywall am considering stopping using My Fitness Pal altogether, so a direct integration to Garmin Connect would be the best solution.

Dude chill out, you’re talking like if they were the launch codes for a nuclear weapon. You’re not that important and Google probably already knows that and more. If you want free cloud services (like Garmin, even though you bought a device, it won’t pay for a lifetime of cloud services), you agree to become a product yourself. No cloud can exist forever with just device purchases and maintaining unlimited access to a growing infrastructure. Get yourself your own homeassistant server if you’re so scared of somebody knowing how much you weigh
