The software is crude and although it has a sync time feature for each camera, it lacks the ability to edit each camera’s time. Why is that important?
If you have cameras in different time zones, it only sets the time based on where the phone is, so it’s yet another (Un)Wyze fail. Will they fix it?
Probably not. You may need to look for a security cam. This is just a hobbyist cam. It works well for me but I wouldn’t seriously use it as a security cam.

I think the point of the synch time feature is so you can see all your cams in whatever time zone your phone is currently in, otherwise it would be really confusing. The cams maintain their time fine on their own, I’ve never had to use the synch time feature, I’m guessing they do it periodically anyway. Whether it is possible to get them to stay in different time zones I don’t know, but personally I’d always want it in whatever time zone I’m in to make it easy to navigate based on the current time.
