How about fixing the left hand of the girl in the first picture

Yikes! That was the very first thing that got my attention, too.

I thought there was something odd but seems she has all of her fingers and she can hold the camera well enough. I can overlook her uniqueness.

What about that last photo? I think it is one of my best generations.

Hmm, I think she has an index finger for a thumb

Honestly, it looks so real. If I didn’t know I would have thought it is a real photograph. 2-4 are not too shabby.

Eh…still seems off to me. They all appear to have some weird form of arachnodactyly, like maybe they’re Marfanoid or something.

I think it is your AI bias or AI fear.

That last picture looks great. You usually point out the flaws clearly.

Is “seems” a feeling or is there any true logic?

Definitely the former. Although the generated images can be interesting or amusing, I lean toward @peepeep’s other topic title: Post your dam AI art here and keep it out of the other threads, it's GROSS 🤮. I’m not saying that the AI tools aren’t useful or that they can’t produce intriguing imagery, but I maintain my previously stated belief that they tend to make mistakes that an actual human artist likely wouldn’t, especially when it comes to detailed elements of a composition.

It’s not terrible, and I can imagine people mistaking it for an actual photograph at a glance, but, again, where the AI fails is apparent in the details. For instance, look at the area of the shirt near the collar (the blue shirt that’s off-shoulder and draped on the back). The stripes aren’t continuous in the way that actual fabric would appear when photographed, and the AI has difficulty determining where the edge of the fabric should be versus where the fabric folds over itself, so there’s some unnecessary noise in the image there that appears as blur or artifact. It’s places like that—like where the AI seems to be unable to make a “decision” and commit—where there’s still a lot of room for improvement with these kinds of tools.

Part of it is gestalt. Part of it is experience with a variety of anatomic variants and knowledge of what does and doesn’t fall within the range of “normal”.

That is the comment I was looking for. It “seems” was a bit weak.

Thanks. I still like it but opinions may vary.

That particular verb was specifically with respect to the digits. I could’ve been more clear initially.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, and I like that we can have conflicting opinions and still get along here. :upside_down_face:

I agree. I just like your definitive answers and got used to your decisive, constructive criticisms.

Thanks man.

Not even! They’re just my opinions, far from definitive. Glad to know they’re appreciated, though. Thanks! :+1:

Sorry, I meant more defined, not as a definitive solution.

I do appreciate your views. Sometimes, I can accept them. Maybe even often times.

That’s acceptable. If we agreed on everything all the time, then this would all be super boring. :upside_down_face:

Ideas for Future Wyze Products.

No. I think they should stick to Electronics and digital stuff, particularly Smart Home related.

It would be a challenge to realistically disrupt any of the above industries.

There is still a ton of room to disrupt the smart home industry and make a dent there. I just wish they’d expand it beyond cameras again.
