I have a pan camera mounted behind a window facing outdoors. Once lights are off outside, you can see the blue status light reflecting in the glass when viewing the camera live or past events. I figured I’d disable the status light through the app to prevent this. However, if the camera runs into a connection issue; would I then no longer be able to see the blinking light the correlates with what the problem is?
Speaking from personal experience, yes that is an problem while trying to figure out connection issues. You would then have to do a factory reset on the camera to get the status light back for troubleshooting.
