On my top banner on android I’ve a line with WYZE
then this line with a star
What is with the star and can you get rid of it?
Takes up a lot of real estate.

I moved this to a new topic since you are talking about the app and the OP was talking about the forum on mobile browser.
The star symbol at the top of the app is a Shortcut. Looks like you may have created one inadvertently. You can delete it by tapping the three dot icon, top right, and choosing Edit Shortcuts, then Edit top left.
