I have a few cams v3, installed about 1.5 mile from the coastline, and after a year the zinc plated bolt on the arm is completely rusted. Replacing it with a stainless steel bolt would only cost a few cents…
Zinc plated is not for outdoor use ! It can last some time depending on the conditions, but it WILL rust !
Bought a v4, still zinc plated, will rust…
