I take it wyze cameras are no good to purchase. My camera was a gift . It worked for literally 2 minutes and no more good . I’ve followed every instruction, even bought a 32 gig chip for firmware download even though I’ve already had a 1 tb . It’s rediculas how crappy these things are .

The cam pan v1 is a very old end of life camera - was it used?
You can try a factory reset, and then manually updating the firmware to the latest using an SD card.
Also try a different power adapter, I believe that cam probably wants 2000mA or above.
The fact that someone gave you and old camera that no longer works is not an indication of the quality of Wyze cams overall.
It was new. Never used.

It was new 9 years ago. Electronics do not like to sit unused and unpowered for years on end, at the very least the capacitors will go bad. Try a different power supply, maybe that went bad but the cam is fine.
But really, a single 9 year old camera not working is hardly a reflection of an entire company’s products.
