Has anyone else had a solar panel shipped to them with a mini USB plug along with a bird feeder camera that has a USB C port? Sloppy bundling. I can’t get the live chat bot to open. I may try twitter. [image1(1)] [image0(1)]

As stated above, there should be an Adapter with the solar panel for you use convert it to USB-C. If yours didn’t come with an adapter, please contact Support.

Thanks, I found the adapter. It was a birthday present for the missus, assembled during her party, and there might have been a wee bit of imbibing involved during assembly. All is good now.

They provide the adapter but it isn’t the right-angle, water-resistant type that the Cam Pro comes with. Doesn’t that make it less than ideal if you are using it outside? [20241119_215516]

There is a 2nd mini cable that you use for the solar panel, it adapts the panel to USB-C. Not the tiny USB adapter dongle thing. It’s a cable. That tiny cable has white velcro on it. Here it is on my birdhouse: [image]

Where would I get that? My solar panels only came with the adapter.

So you didn’t get the USB-C Adapter cable that is listed on “What’s in the box” for the Solar Panel? Did you check all the stuff in the box? Maybe you set it to the side and didn’t realize what it was? You can buy one off Amazon if you need to. [image]

The only USB cable in the box is a USB-A to USB-C for charging. It is not a Micro USB as it says in your screenshot. The adapter is a simply a straight adapter, not a cable. BTW, on the site currently, there is no mention of a Micro USB. [Screenshot 2024-11-23 203554]

Yes, the Battery Camera Pro is USB-C, you have to use the adapter cable that comes with the Solar Panel.
