I recently purchased 2 Battery Cam Pros and Solar Panels. The instructions show adapter cable to connect Solar Panel to Battery Cam Pro but it’s not included in the ( solar panel ) box. What are people using to connect these two to work together? WYZE should at least provide a USB A to USB Micro adapter to use the charging cable that comes with the camera if they don’t have the proper cable
I’ll leave it to others to confirm, I think at one point you had to buy the kit with the two together and it came with the adapter, but then I thought someone said it is now included with all the panels but is buried in the packaging somewhere?
@peteg67 - The solar panels I purchased from Amazon came with an adapter for micro usb to usb-c. The cable from the solar panel was micro usb and was preconnected in the solar panel. You can purchase the adapter from Amazon if needed or an extension micro usb female to micro usb male cable for the a longer cable to use with the usb-c adapter. Where did you purchase the solar panels?
Also, to clarify, there should be no USB-A involved. I believe most of the panels are Micro USB and the cam is USB-C.
The USB-A cable is for use with a wall charger, you don’t need that with the solar panel setup, you just need the Micro female to C male adapter which should have been included.
@dave27 - The original cable that is packed with the battery cam pro is usb-A to L shape usb-c so usb-A is involved. You need a usb-A male to usb-A female extension for use with the original cable for a longer connection. I have that set-up with one of my BCPs. Even though the wall charger is the final connection results.
I think you’re mixing up the two threads. This one is about connecting to the solar panel which won’t use USB-A at all.
I looked everywhere and thought it might be in the other solar panel box, no luck. The instruction manual shows the usb c cable in the “ in the box” section but it wasn’t included. Both cameras and solar panels purchased directly from Wyze

I only mentioned the charging cable because it is the right type of usb c connection and seems to be weather proof. It is USB A at the other end and an adapter to micro usb should work, both being female of course. I can’t find an adapter online and just thought someone else here has had the same problem. Wyze should supply whatever adapter needed to make these work, I know the solar panel originally was made to work with the outdoor cam but the battery cam pro is the latest product and so is the bird feeder. I bought that for my granddaughter and that should have come with an adapter to use the solar panel.
There have been a few different solar panels, but if the one you bought says it includes the micro to C adapter, and it didn’t (are you sure it isn’t connected to the solar panel already)? then contact wyze and they’ll send them out or replace the entire panels.
I think the issue is the BCP requires a right angle adapter and when using it in the bird feeder, the straight ones won’t fit?
This is a case where wyze needs to send them out or replace the panels completely. If the specs say it is included, it should be. I suspect @peteg67 may have gotten older stock but you’d think Wyze would have the latest stock where someone like Amazon might not…
@peteg67 contact support via chat and ask if they can send the adapters. If not, they need to send new panels and if they want the old ones back, prepaid labels for that. If they don’t want them back then you can buy a couple Y adapters and double up your solar panel power 
@peteg67 - Regrets, I failed to recognize your connection involved the birdfeeder.
I just looked into a few of my spare panels boxes. The adapter was in there.
Could you post a pic of the adapter, I looked in both boxes I have and there is nothing that connects to USB C
Should be the same as the Amazon pic I previously posted if it was packaged with a solar panel unless @Rempala is referring also to a birdfeeder panel. Probably 90% or more solar panels include the same type micro usb to usb-c adapter.

This gets overlooked often with these panels.
Both solar panels that were sent with my order do not include the USB C cable, just the older adapter cable is in the bag. I contacted WYZE and they are out of the adapter cables so I have to wait to get them.
Make sure it’s the L shape usb-c cable connecter cable/adapter for the birdfeeder BCP.
