I charged my battery for eight hours a s usual, same equipment, but after eight hrs both lights werent on but I said screw it good enough, I put the battery in light comes on it’s fine I plug the solar panel in I heard three loud pops lights flickering def seen something arc then it just stop ad quick as it started I unplugged the solar panel but it was too late . Tried another battery to c if it was bricked and yeah it is I got I hope we can work this whole thing out and get my birdhouse I bought from y’all back up and recording
I would contact support directly as most of the people here are fellow users and can’t help with that. As long as it is in warranty they should provide a replacement (sounds like you probably need both the solar panel and camera to be safe).
Given that you were having issues charging the battery also it sounds like the battery itself may be the issue (and now it has likely fried the camera) but probably not worth the risk and I’d personally push for a replacement panel too, assuming it is all within a year old.
