Solar cams wont set up

Which Solar cam?

That’s my primary question, too. I suspect that it’s Solar Cam Pan, which users have reported being unable to setup because of Wyze’s aggressive pause while dealing with the CPSC issue^[1][2][3], but I’m hesitant to re-tag this topic with confirmation from @peanutspawpaw.

2. Move solar cam pan to new location

   I successfully installed a solar cam pan at my primary home in March 2026. On April 24, 2026, I brought the same solar cam pan to my lake house to install there. I deleted the solar cam pan from the Wyze app and attempted to re-install it (with new wifi SSID), when I was hit with the CPSC safety message, prohibiting me from installing the solar cam pan. 3. Solar Cam Pan - Unable to use because of the lawyers?

   Its pretty bizarre that I can’t set up the Solar Cam Pans I’ve already purchased but haven’t yet set up (but I can use the ones I’ve purchased and already set up) just because someone used the wrong screws to mount the solar panel to the camera. Common sense seems to have left the process.
