On my iPhone the V4 smart focus will stay on until I turn it off. The phone has the 2.50.9 iOS app. My iPad has the 3.1.6.1 iOS app and smart focus will not stay on if I leave live view. The 3.xxxx app doesn’t remember anything. If I force close the app or restart my iPad I have to reset all the event filters, every time.
I have 3.1.61 on iPhone 14 Pro Max and iOS 18.1. It must be the 3.1.61 then. Suddenly since I posted about it they are now staying on. Not sure what is going on. I will keep checking my V4 cams to see if it stays on.
I’m using iOS 17.7 and smart focus will not stay on with the 3,1,6,1 app. I don’t use it smart focus except sometimes when doing playback from the SD recording just to see if it works and it does.
Just checked my V4 cams and it is still turning off intermittently on all V4 cams.
Seems more like a ‘smart zoom’ than focus, then
