Long story short, we have an issue with small animals around our home and recently in the past couple weeks wise has stopped detecting cats or rabbits where it has always done it in the past to the point of it getting annoying. Has anyone else seen these detections not working anymore? It does seem to work for deer and larger animals. I’ve tried resetting the services on a couple of my cameras as well as rebooting them from the app and they are still not detecting the small animals. Any ideas?
I have noticed that notifications are hit or miss. This is from a Cam Pan v4 running firmware version 40.70.0.2766. A little red fox passed by this morning and the camera started to track him and then stopped. There was no event recorded and no notification sent.
Yeah I really wish I knew what was going on because they used to work so well and then one day it just stopped. I’m tempted to turn off the smart detection but they’re just then they may just go off with every passing leaf.
