Hello, I have the Cam3 Floodlight and it is filling up my alerts and SD Card with tree shadows moving across my driveway. I have the device set to confirm movement with the PIR but it doesn’t work. I know a shadow does not cause an IR event so the camera is seeing pixel movement and causing an alert. When its windy outside my camera alerts so often I have to turn off the alerts rendering it useless. It also alerts on rain drops and small insects that certainly don’t have a large IR signature.
Do you have Notifications set to only Alert you to the AI Tagging you are interested in (like Person, not all motion). The Micro SD card should Auto delete the oldest files when full.
Note that the PIR sensor confirmation is only for turning on the floodlight. Event recording is going to get triggered by camera regardless of PIR sensor.
You can set your Event Recording settings to only detect Smart detection events.
Also, like @StevenA said, I set my floodlight to only alert me when a Person is detected, so I don’t get alerts over random movements.

Thanks for the reply. The app clearly says “Only the motion detected by the PIR sensor on the floodlight will be recorded” when “Detected by PIR Sensor” is selected in the Event Recording options and that is just not the case. It acts just like you describe. Why have a function in the App if it does not work as described. As for the AI I do not have a subscription. I purchased this because it was advertised as “NO Subscription” required. I am maxed out on subscriptions and wanted a solution that I could manage, thats why I purchased the 128GB SD.

Actually I realized I never turned on the Event Recording PIR sensor filter option since I want to get all the events.
I do have Person selected under Device Notifications, which is possible since I’m on Cam Plus Lite for my Wyze Cam V3/floodlight. Do you want to try adding Cam Plus Lite to your floodlight and just set your price to $0?
No snarkyness detected. I have regular v3 cameras and not the floodlights, but still trying to offer thoughts. I also assumed you had Cam Plus or Cam Plus Lite. Here is a link with info on Lite which you can name your price including Zero dollars. Good luck.
