Hey guys. Trying to setup Tinycampro on my firestick and its asking for username & password for my Wyze account. I signed up using my Google Account. I have put my Google account Usernam and Password in amd its not connecting to camera. Can anyone please help. Cheers
Good Question. I do know you can’t use your Google credentials with TinyCam Pro. You’ll have to figure out a way to create an official password with Wyze. Most of the people I know have created a Wyze account first, and then they can sign in with their google credentials too. But I don’t know what to do if you create a Wyze account with your google credentials then want to have an official Wyze password. I checked in the app and from what I can see, there is no way to “change password” since you’re logged in through Google passport.
I would ask Support. For support, it’s irrelevant that you’re trying to use TinyCamPro though, just tell them you want an official Wyze password so you can use 3rd party stuff, but you only have access to your Google Passport and don’t see a way to change the password for your actual Wyze account credentials.
Let me see if any of my other clever @Mavens have an idea of how to get a Wyze password when the account was first created through a passport.

TBH, I didn’t even know this was possible. I thought the Username (email) & Password were account setup requirements. So many other things depend on that when linking accounts.
I use TCP linked by User\Pass to Wyze w\ SMS 2FA.
Definitely a question for Support.

So, I couldn’t access password reset info in the app if I log in with my Google Passport, but I tried logging in to my Wyze account with my Google Passport here:
and from there, it looks like it will still give you a password reset option for your Wyze account:
If that shows up for you, that will probably allow you to get an email at your Google email to allow you to reset a normal Wyze account password that you’ll be able to use in the future with 3rd party API’s like TinyCamPro. That is what I would probably try.
You should still be able to continue using your Google Passport even if your Wyze password is different. Google Passport works by having Google verify that you are the owner of that email address, and then tells the company that you are indeed the owner, so they can allow you to access your account that is associated with that gmail account.
