Sd continues recording play back not working even with new update

Still not able to view 24/7 video on my sd card on my phone only on v4 pan on my v3 working perfectly and my front doorbell working perfectly the new update was supposed to fix this issue but still not fixes or at least for me ?

Confused some, sorry.

You mention the Pan Cam V4 but then you also mention the Doorbell. Are you seeing this issue on both? Also, which doorbell?

I just checked mine and it is able to utilize the SD Card and show all of my events, but would like to try what your process to see if I can replicate.

My v3 and my door bell sd recording is working find its only my v4 that does not record well it does record but I cant view it thru the app

What size Card did you put in? Also, the make, I have a couple different kinds and even some Wyze ones.

This all i get its recording as you could tell on my sd card but just dont show anything on the app i cant view it

Looks like the above screenshot is for Cloud video playback. Have you checked the v4 settings to make sure SD card is recording on for the inserted SD card?

Its for the sd card not the cloud recording

See the “Recent Events” in your picture? It’s a clue that you’re looking at cloud events. See the “SD Card”? There’s a button above it. Click it.

If the P2788deal suggestion does not get the SD card to play, I would then Temporarily put the working v3 SD card in the v4 to see if it records and plays back.

512 MB cards won’t last long recording continuous :laughing:

My cam 3 is recording so it says, but I cannot view or play back any of the events. Each update of the app makes it worse. With all the negative messages on Reddit, I’m beginning to believe it Wyze is no longer functioning.

It has gone from a weak camera and even weaker app to the worst of the worst.

Do you have a regular V3 camera or a Pan v3 ? I have six regular V3 cams and they all playback from the SD if I tap the SD Card icon.

I was having similar thoughts reading through this. Although @MORENO1924 stated…

…the image in the subsequent post said that the cards are “Low Capacity for…Old Phones/Small Files Only”, and the text and product pictures show 512 MB cards. Units are important.

When I ask @Antonius’s robo-buddy on the Support site, I get this:

The smallest capacity microSD card you can use in a Wyze Cam is 8GB, formatted in FAT32.

I think the cards themselves are the issue here. What happens if @MORENO1924 tries a card that’s actually supposed to be compatible?
