do I need SD cards in my cameras if i sign up for CAM+?
They each server different purposes. Personally I have CamPlus on all my cameras and they also have µSD cards set for continuous recording.
The µSD cards can record continuously whereas any version of CamPlus is events only. The µSD cards will continue to record even with an Internet outage. I have multiple cameras that lose Internet for hours at a time (cameras in my pickup truck).
The biggest advantage of CamPlus is the AI processing and notifications (if you use them), and that the recording is off-site - so if someone steals or destroys the camera, any uploaded videos will be available without the camera being reachable.
