One night my internet went down so I missed some events that would have been recorded in the cloud. Now I have an SD card, and it works when the camera is connected to the internet via WiFi. But will it record to the SD card without the camera linked to the internet (WiFi will be otherwise functional)?

So it sounds like you could setup a camera to record to SD card continuously then move it somewhere that it did not have a Wi-Fi connection and it would still record. My neighbor was having some trouble with mail disappearing from his mailbox which is at the end of their drive and not close to Wi-Fi. I suggested trying a Wyze cam but didn’t know if it would work w/o Wi-Fi.
