There seems to be a fair degree of overlap between this topic and some of the suggestions made in a related topic:
I think the suggestion in this present topic’s title could be different in a key way, however: What if a waypoint schedule could be stored in the camera itself, much in the same way that some Plug models can store and run on Local Schedules? I can definitely see the utility of scheduling something like a Cam Pan v3 using Rules (“Automations” in the new Wyze app v3.0 lingo) of Schedule type, but I can also imagine a scenario where someone might want to have the waypoint change stored within the camera itself and able to run on schedule even if the Wi-Fi pukes or the Internet connection gets hosed (when someone is still doing continuous recording to microSD, for instance).
I don’t know if that’s technically possible with the current hardware; it just strikes me as a potential difference between this topic and some of the suggestions made in the other Rules topic (although Rules have also been mentioned here), and I haven’t seen anyone else suggest anything quite like this.
