Saving waypoints in the iOS app and missing RTSP(S) for the Pan Cam v4

Hi everybody.

Actually, I’m pretty familiar with the Wyze app.
However, it’s not really possible to save waypoints in Dark Mode on iOS because you simply can’t see the buttons for it. In Light Mode, the necessary icons are visible. But who still uses Light Mode?

Does the Cam Pan v4 really not support RTSP(S)?

After the disaster with my Pan Cam v3 having issues with microSD cards, I actually wanted to use the v4 (with the better resolution) and, just like with the v3, save the stream directly to my HDD via my NAS.

If that doesn’t work, the cameras are useless to me. I’ll return them to Amazon, and it’ll be time to say goodbye to Wyze products for good. And use the money for Cam Unlimited for something else.

I suspect that once I’ve phased out the AC thermostats, Pan Cam v3/v4, and Cam v3, only the Doorbell Cam v2 will remain. As long as it still works. And even with that one, I’ve already noticed that it often takes two or three tries to access the videos stored on the microSD card.

As far as I know RTSP has not been released for any of the v4 cams. Only v3 and Panv3.

It has been in the works for the Camv4 so hopefully we’ll see it soon.

It sounds like you may have faulty/fake/worn out SD cards if they’re giving you problems in multiple models of cam. Connectivity issues (wifi signal) can also cause symptoms like that.
