For those that are having this problem, I have a fix.
I had this issue, warm power button and all… and I figured it was broken too. Also, owning an I.T. business, my troubleshooting knowledge told me that maybe the vacuum is just froze, and needs to be rebooted. My first thought was to take it apart, and unplug the battery from the motherboard, but I remembered that the power button gets warm, even off the charger, so I’ll just let the power button warm the unit till the battery dies, and try charging it. Well, a couple days later, my 3 year old noticed it off the charger, and put it back, and my wife came to me yelling in excitement telling me that the vacuum lights are working again.
So the easiest solution is to just let the battery die, and try it again.
